3 Tweets & a Podcast Riff – On Windows, Mirrors, and Soul Work
Because a few lines can shift your whole perspective.
Hi friends,
Below are three tweets I saved this week—and a riff from my latest episode of Good / True / & Beautiful.
At our real estate firm, we often return to this core idea: our role as agents and brokers is to be a redemptive presence. This posture allows us to release the ego-driven narratives that can so easily take root in a sales-driven profession. It frees us to let go of outcomes beyond our control—and to simply show up, grounded, helpful, and whole. I loved this thought from Blake Burge below.

I’m not an energy expert, but something tells me this is worthy of paying attention to. Elon posted a retweet of the tweet below, stating that solar power in China will surpass all sources of electricity combined in the USA in three to four years.

I spent the last week traveling, driving, flying, dining, and laughing with my wife. And I had this thought, “When I’m 85, these will be what I call the glory days.” Ryan’s thoughts below complement this idea well.

And now... the podcast riff:
🎙️ The Relationship > Your Relationships
In this latest podcast, I unpack what might be one of the most important conversations of midlife (or anytime, really): the idea that your most foundational relationship is the one you have with yourself.
Your psyche. Your body. Your emotions. Your soul.
Get those in right relationship, and everything else—marriage, business, spirituality—starts to breathe.
I share stories from the last 6–9 months, lessons from Carl Jung, thoughts on ego vs. soul, and why most of us have been looking at the mirror… instead of cleaning the window.
🪞 "When the window changes, the mirrors change."
That’s the kind of clarity I hope you’ll find in this episode.
Here’s to keeping your window clean…
