Candles & Swords
We have two choices with our words.
They can be candles or they can be swords?
Sure things need to be poked, prodded, cut, challenged, and defended. And when this is done well, we can only hope that the holes left from the prodding and poking will let more light in.
Outtakes…
Sharp things in the dark is rarely, if ever, a good thing.
Just because ‘word’ is in ‘sword’ doesn’t mean that’s how we should use them.
If people perish with no vision, then we must first light the wick of our moments and our future with our words.
Where there is no sword, there’s most likely an abundance of possibility that squelches the potential of fear.
